Painting Narrative:
This painting is about solitary versus a shared experience. Here, it’s unclear if the shadow seen through the window of the cabin is a person, and if so, are they looking at the brilliant pink sky, or back at the viewer, or another unseen party whom they see (or sense) in the landscape.
Technical:
This Painting uses multiple kinds of perspective techniques including:
Chromatic perspective
Atmospheric perspective
Linear perspective
Multiple Spatial Planes
Color: Primary pigments include:
(Green): cobalt green (pale, medium, dark), terre verte (Blue): lapis lazuli, indigo, manganese blue (Red): rose dore. (Yellow): naples yellow genuine (light, dark) (Orange): (Violet):cobalt violet (Earth Colors): burnt sienna
Influences:
This painting is inspired by the idea of “interactive distances” and measuring distance by the points between things, places or people.

I'm working on a short video with suggestions for Frames. I just purchased 18" square frames from West Elm that worked out nicely. I'm ordering some custom mats to use with the frames.
One thing to keep in mind when choosing frames is that the print image is 12"X12" but the paper is larger, usually around 13" Square.
Frame sizes are generally the outside dimensions of the frame, not the inside dimensions that hold the paper.
Generally, for a classic 2" border (matted or floating), you want a frame that is at least 17" Square.
In the decor shot in the About section, the nickel frame with the gray backing is 17.5" square, and the black gallery frame is 18" square.
